In 1981 Definitivos recorded their first single in Aaltrac Studios (Zomergem).

The band constisted of Rik Masselis, Lucien Callewaert, Frank Holvoet and Marnik Den Hert.

1982 and Definitivos are already back in the studio of "Vuile Mong en zijn Vieze Gasten".

They record a second single with Serge Feys (TC Matic). as producer.

The new songs have a lot to do with the situation at the time in their hometown Kortrijk (Courtrai).

The band now also features the second guitarist, Peter Coppens.

1985.  Lucien and Peter have left Definitivos.  Philippe de Coene and Dominique Decandt take their relief.

In this configuration a third record is released.  Again it is produced by Serge Feys.

In 2010, after years of inactivity, the former bandmembers meet again and decide to release a compilation of all the recordings they made back in the eighties.

A lot of the material comes from their stay at ICP studios in Brussels and was produced by Serge Feys but never previously released.

The CD contains 17 tracks.

2018, Mayway Records releases 13 previously recorded tracks on quality vinyl.  The LP contains the previously unreleased bonustrack "2017".

Definitivos went back in studio beginning of 2019.  The new track was released digitally on april 15th.
